No bake Nutella cookies!!

What is better than making cookies, without having to use the oven? You can only do one or two sheets of cookies at a time, with no bake cookies it cuts the preparation time in half! (Maybe 15 minutes to get them finished, and a couple more to cool them down once they are on the cookie sheet).

In this particular recipe it brings in one of my favorite ingredients – Nutella.  Now I know there are quite a few people out there that don’t enjoy Nutella…either they don’t enjoy the texture or they just don’t enjoy the taste.  These cookies neither have the texture of Nutella nor an overpowering taste of it…but just enough to make me go “mmm mmm mmm”!
 Ingredients
§  1/2 cup butter
§  1/2 cup milk
§  1 & 3/4 cups brown sugar
§  1/2 cup cocoa
§  1 teaspoon vanilla
§  1/2 cup Nutella
§  3 cups rolled oats

1.      Put oats into a bowl and set aside.  (Make sure the bowl is heat durable- not plastic)
2.      In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine butter, milk, brown sugar, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and continue to boil for 3 minutes, still stirring. (Keep a close eye on the mixture so as it does not burn).
3.      Remove from heat and add Vanilla.
4.      Stir in the Nutella while it is still hot, the Nutella will melt better into the mix this way.
5.      Pour mixture into the bowl of oats and mix thoroughly
6.      Spoon heaps of the mixture onto a cookie sheet, allow cookies to cool and set.

Makes 3 dozen cookies (2 inch cookies )

Millions of chocolate kisses xoxo
